Is part of the Legacy 300 project
Once in a lifetime, you have the opportunity to do something unique, for sports loving individuals and corporates who are looking to make a difference, the Legacy 300 project affords you that opportunity.
Legacy 300 was established by GB Olympians as a vehicle to enable corporates and individuals to directly support GB athletes and good causes. The principle has not waivered and has enabled the participating athletes augment their existing support of their own chosen good causes and provide a universal platform for all good causes to benefit from.
By 10/03/2019, good causes have netted £477,150 by auctioning off places on limited edition, exclusive, unique individual and team challenge athlete hosted participation events which enable people to support both the good cause and participating GB athletes.
Athletes receive a fee for running these events, this is the way that they are directly funded by the project. The funding has reached £126,400.
The project is run by one full time employee with the experience days delivered by a small team of freelance event staff.
SPORTY PARENTS SERIES
It has been a long held desire to see these sporting experiences to help youth sport. We hope that by creating this unique opportunity to mix with leading sportspeople and have fun, will appeal as a one off to parents.
Very much in the spirit of our sister project, Legacy 300, all concerned aim to deliver. VIP, exclusive, unique, participation sports events for individuals and teams. All at no outlay to the school associations we are looking to support.
It is also an opportunity for companies to support local schools by taking part in Legacy 300 experiences and donating to local parent associations.
Legacy 300 receive contact details for all participants on the experience days through several third parties including auctions, brand ambassadors, charities, retailers or through the online shop. These details are retained on a secured file, never shared with third parties and the contact details, namely email address or phone numbers are used to provide you with updates on the forthcoming experience day. Post event, your details are stored for a period of 12 months to ensure any post experience day issues or requests can be resolved. If you email us, we will keep the content of your message, your email address, and your contact information to respond to your request.Legacy 300 will publish images from the experience days on their social media feeds (Twitter and Facebook) and also in marketing materials, all persons attending will be reminded of this and all requests for images to be removed from the social media feeds.
